Vena Energy Powers Aomori With 20 MW Solar
Singapore-based renewable energy company Vena Energy has commissioned two solar parks in Aomori Prefecture, Japan with a combined capacity of 20 MW. The Nanbucho 2 and 3 solar photovoltaic plants are estimated to produce enough electricity to power around 4,900 homes in the region. Raul Rienda, Country Head of Japan for Vena Energy expressed appreciation for the support of the local communities and stated that Aomori Prefecture now hosts 16 of their renewable energy projects. Vena Energy has an extensive network of 45 GW of onshore, offshore, and battery assets across the Asia-Pacific region with an annual production of 4.1 TWh of clean electricity. What Benefits Has Vena Energy Brought to Aomori Prefecture? Vena Energy has established a network of 16 renewable energy projects in Aomori Prefecture, significantly contributing to the region's renewable energy goals. The two commissioned solar parks provide a combined capacity of 20 MW, capable of powering up to 4,900 homes. These parks have also created renewable energy jobs for locals and provided a boost to the local economy. Vena Energy’s extensive network of 45 GW of onshore, offshore, and battery assets across the Asia-Pacific region allows the company to produce 4.1 TWh of clean electricity annually. The renewable energy projects developed by Vena Energy also help reduce air pollution in the region, contributing to a more sustainable environment.
