Albania is preparing a public require solar power projects at two former military airports while Slovenia means to develop a public-private partnership at an army barracks in Ljubljana.

Slovenia's largest solar power plant is now in trial production and is integrated with the Brežice hydroelectric plant. This hybrid system is the biggest of its kind in the country and will provide 6.8 GWh of electricity annually.

Slovenian state-owned electricity manufacturer and trader Holding Slovenske Elektrarne (HSE) launched a 3 MW solar plant, the greatest in the nation thus far, in Prapretno, main Slovenia, in a location that was formerly utilized for the deposition of fly ash and also slag from a thermal power plant.

Slovenian energy group Petrol [LJE: PETG] plans to invest 17 million euro ($19.3 million) in the building of three photovoltaic or pv (PV) plants near Croatia's Knin in 2022, it claimed on Friday.
