Austrian clean energy effectiveness solutions service provider CLEEN Energy got in the Croatian market with the procurement of project rights for 23 MWp of renewable energy capacity, it stated.

Croatian state-owned energy distributor Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP) claimed it put into operation the largest solar center in the country - the 31 million kuna ($4.9 million/4.1 million euro) worth Vis solar energy plant.

The Croatian energy regulatory authority is seeking to assign 88 MW of renewable resource generation capacity. The tender becomes part of the country's plan to acquire 2.26 GW of renewables consisting of more than 1 GW of solar.

The 6.5 MW solar project will be constructed with PV modules supplied by Croatian manufacturer Solvis d.o.o.
