KAUST University in Saudi Arabia, with the help of MBRAUN systems, recently set a new world record in the efficiency of perovskite tandem solar cells, reaching 33.7% certified power conversion efficiency. The KAUST Photovoltaic Laboratory, led by Dr Stefaan De Wolf since 2016, has been actively developing the concept of perovskite/silicon tandem cells, resulting in the latest milestone of 33.7%. MBRAUN has been supplying research institutions and industrial customers with gloveboxes, PVD systems and other process equipment in the field of perovskite research for many years.
