Dimension Secures $237M for 120-MW Solar Portfolio
Dimension Renewable has secured financing of USD 237 million to construct 28 distributed generation solar projects across the US. The projects, with a total capacity of 120-MW DC, will provide power to over 12,000 households, with more than half being low-to-moderate income households, by 2021.

US Grants 425M to Tata Power for India Solar Factory
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited has been granted USD 425 million by the US International Development Finance Corporation for building a 4.3-GW solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. This project will create 2,000 jobs and module production is expected to start in 2020. India's renewable energy goals will be boosted by this facility. Tata Power currently has a 7.8 GW renewable energy portfolio.

Silfab Secures US-made Wafers from NorSun's 5GW Factory
Silfab Solar Inc. has signed an agreement with NorSun to purchase locally-made silicon wafers for its PV module production. This partnership will enable Silfab to strengthen its supply chain and provide more Western-produced wafers for its products. Origis Revives Former NM Coal Plant with 200MW Solar Farm
Origis Energy has started construction on the 200-MW Escalante Solar Project in New Mexico. Built near Grants, this PV facility will produce enough energy to power 40,000 homes and is scheduled for completion in 2024. Gridworks is overseeing construction and Origis will assume operation and maintenance services. The project will be located next to a zero-emission, hydrogen-fired power facility.
