RWE is investing EUR 24 million in a battery storage project in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, with an installed power capacity of 35 MW and a storage capacity of 41 MWh. EDF Renewables UK expands its commercial and industrial presence with the acquisition of SAS Energy, a British solar installer. Innovatec and Senec Italia have signed a MoU to jointly develop 100 MWp of solar projects for sale to third parties. Senec will hold a 49% stake in the SPV, while Innovatec will handle development and permitting. Construction and sale of the portfolio is expected in 2024.
