Sunny Future: Bulgaria's 123MW Solar Plant
- Eurohold Bulgaria AD's photovoltaic project, Verila, has become the largest solar power plant in Bulgaria with a capacity of 123 megawatts. 220,000 bifacial Tiger NEO TOPCon modules supplied by JinkoSolar are facilitating the country's transition to clean energy.
Eurohold Bulgaria AD has completed its photovoltaic project, the Verila solar power plant located on the southern slope of the Verila mountains near the village of Kraynits, southwest of Sofia in western Bulgaria. With a capacity of 123 megawatts, it is the largest solar project in the country. The installation work on the inhospitable terrain with slopes of up to 18% was carried out by Munich-based Sunotec, using more than 220,000 bifacial Tiger NEO TOPCon modules supplied by JinkoSolar. The electricity generated will be sold to Yettel and Cetin under a 10-year power supply contract. The project is expected to facilitate the country's transition towards clean and renewable energy, in line with its commitments under the Paris Agreement.
What Are the Benefits of Verila Solar Power Plant?
The Benefits of Verila Solar Power Plant include:
