OX2 plans 300 MW of solar projects in Italy
- Swedish renewables developer OX2 AB (STO: OX2) intends to develop a 300-MW pipe of solar projects in Italy, according to its legal adviser Watson Farley & Williams (WFW).

The plan includes a co-development deal for a 30-MW ground-mounted solar PV project with Bologna-based renewables firm Avapa Energy Srl, the law firm stated. This project is currently under growth in Sardinia.
WFW stated it advised OX2 on "the composing of the co-development and possession transfer agreements for the project". Nothing else information were released.
While OX2 expenses itself as a programmer and vendor of wind and solar farms, the company is extra active in the onshore wind industry than in solar, and also a lot more present in the north than in southern Europe.
According to OX2's 2021 economic outcomes, solar PV just represents near to 10% of the firm's profile. The Swedish designer entered the Italian market in 2021.
