- Chinese solar technology company Longi will supply its Hi-MO 5 (72C) modules for the 400-MW direct present (DC) Rabigh Solar PV IPP project in Saudi Arabia.

The statement of the module supply deal was made on Friday during an event in Riyadh attended by Longi and its partner Green Technology Company (GTek Solar).
Longi was awarded the supply agreement by the project's EPC service provider, China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Power Engineering Co Ltd (CEEC-GPEC).
Located in the kingdom's western Makkah province, the solar park has a commercial operation date (COD) collection for July 2023.
Rabigh is Japanese Marubeni Corp's (TYO:8002) initially large-scale solar project in Saudi Arabia. In 2021, Marubeni authorized a 25-year power purchase contract (PPA) with the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC), beginning with the solar park's COD.
