The order was positioned by Singaporean independent power manufacturer Terrenus Energy, Longi Solar stated on Monday. The supposed SolarLand Phase 2 project was granted to the business by Singapore's government company JTC Corporation.

The PV park is equipped with Longi's Hi-MO 5 series modules, a mobile installing system and a containerised mobile substation. While the original project design was for a plant of 12 MWp in size, Terrenus lifted the capacity and expects to be able to create 23.9 GWh of electrical power each year.

According to the declaration, the solar plant is currently the largest ground-mounted solar system in Singapore.

Last week, Longi introduced brand-new orders to supply 1 GW of PV modules for projects in Bangladesh. The Chinese maker's Hi-MO 5 (72C) modules will certainly be utilized at the 400-MW DC Rabigh Solar project in Saudi Arabia under a deal protected previously in June.
