Longi and Power Field to establish solar park in the Netherlands

- China's Longi Environment-friendly Energy Technology Co. has actually introduced a collaboration with Power Field, its companion in the Netherlands, to deploy 15.49 MW of its Hi-MO 4 modules at Ter Apelkanaal, among three production places of the Dutch potato starch manufacturer Royal Avebe.
As a result of a joint partnership between Royal Avebe and Power Field, a 10-hectare park has been constructed with over 34,000 Longi modules. Ter Apelkanaal is the 2nd project that Power Field is running itself.
According to the firm, since the end of 2020, Longi's market share in the Netherlands stands at 20 percent. The Dutch market is dominated by DG and also, with enhancing annual demand of 2.5 to 3.0 GW. "It ranks among the top five markets in Europe."
The Dutch business Power Field creates ground-based solar parks. Because 2016, the business has contributed to the realization of more than 20 solar parks in the Netherlands, with prepare for a more 1,000 MW in the coming years.
