Japan's Idemitsu Kosan completes 17-MW solar plant in Iwate

- Japanese petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd (TYO:5019), via its subsidiary RS Renewables Co Ltd, announced on Friday it has actually placed on stream a 16.88-MW solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) park in Iwate prefecture.
The Hirono Town Solar Power Plant, as it is named, has a predicted annual generation of around 18.12 million kWh, which is equivalent to the yearly power consumption of regarding 4,000 regional homes.
Idemitsu's system Solar Frontier Co Ltd is in charge of procedures and also maintenance (O&M) at the PV park.
