India's Luminous Shines Bright with Solar Panel Factory

Luminous Power Technologies, an Indian energy solutions provider, has opened a 250-MW solar panel factory in Uttarakhand, with potential to scale up to 1 GW. The factory will produce polycrystalline, monocrystalline, N-type, and TOPCon panels on a 10-acre site in Radrapur.
The new plant aims to meet the growing demand for PV panels in residential and commercial rooftop segments. Luminous CEO Preeti Bajaj sees solar as a key growth driver, with plans to double growth in the next three years. The factory will also feature a PV module performance lab in partnership with the University of New South Wales, Australia.
