The completion of these plants marks a significant step towards decarbonizing the economy and increasing renewable energy production in Portugal. Iberdrola currently has 1,435 MW of operational assets in Portugal, including the Tamega Pumped Hydro Complex, which is set to be integrated into a wind farm to create the largest hybrid project in the country.
