- Golden Solar's groundbreaking vertical integration has resulted in the launch of its perovskite/hybrid BC tandem solar cells, offering a conversion efficiency of 33.94%. A revolutionary step forward in renewable energy, now available to the C-end market with flexible awning for RVs.
Golden Solar has announced the launch of its perovskite/hybrid BC Tandem Solar Cells, which are said to have a conversion efficiency of 33.94%. Developed in partnership with Jinshi, Fujian, Golden Solar and Huaqiao University, the cells are the result of the company's vertical integration of the industry from silicon wafers to batteries to components. Golden Solar has already begun mass production and delivery of its first product, "flexible awning for RVs" for the C-end market in June this year.
What Are Golden Solar's 33.94% Efficient Cells?
- The perovskite/hybrid BC Tandem Solar cells are a type of photovoltaic cell that uses two different types of materials to absorb sunlight and convert it into electrical energy.
- The tandem solar cells feature a combination of a perovskite material and a silicon-based material, allowing for higher efficiency levels under different light conditions.
- The 33.94% efficient cells have been designed to offer a flexible, cost-effective solution for rooftop and off-grid applications, such as RV awnings.
- Golden Solar's cells offer an advanced performance with a peak efficiency of up to 33.94%, and an average efficiency of up to 30%.
- The cells are also highly reliable and have a lifespan of up to 25 years.
- Golden Solar has invested in advanced production lines, enabling mass production and delivery of its first product, "flexible awning for RVs" for the C-end market in June this year.
- The cells are also UL-certified, meaning they are designed to meet safety and performance standards.
