GCL SI to deliver 71 MW of bifacial solar modules to Brazil

- Chinese photovoltaics (PV) business GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002506) today introduced a solar module order in Brazil and also offered an update regarding its manufacturing operations in Hefei, China.

GCL SI, part of the Golden Concord Group (GCL), stated in a statement it will certainly equip a 71-MW section of the 250-MW Casa Blanca project being created by Atlas Renewable Energy in Bahia. The Chinese company will certainly deliver sufficient bifacial panels for this project so it might generate 630 million kWh of electricity a year.
The solar park is expected to be completely constructed by the end of the year.
At the same time, GCL SI stated it had actually effectively appointed Phase 1 of its Hefei gigafactory in East China's Anhui Province. The firm intends to get to 20 GW of solar module production ability by the end of 2022.
