  • FTC Solar partners with Levona Renewables to power 1 GW of U.S. solar projects, enhancing efficiency with cutting-edge trackers and software. Delivery set for early 2026.

FTC Solar has secured a contract with Levona Renewables to supply solar trackers and software for approximately 1 GW of solar projects in the U.S. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in early 2026. The initial project, a 140-MW photovoltaic park in Snyder, Texas, will begin construction early next year, covering 478 acres.

Additional capacity of 650 MW will be added through the CT Solar Two and CT Solar Three projects, utilizing FTC’s Pioneer 1P trackers and SunPath software. Levona’s CEO, Fernando Queiroz, praised FTC’s ability to optimize site efficiency and energy yield while minimizing costs.

How will FTC Solar's contract with Levona Renewables impact U.S. solar project efficiency?

  • FTC Solar's advanced solar trackers and SunPath software are designed to enhance the alignment of solar panels with the sun, increasing energy capture and overall project efficiency.
  • The Pioneer 1P trackers are known for their durability and adaptability to various terrains, which can lead to higher energy output and reduced maintenance costs.
  • By optimizing the angle and position of solar panels throughout the day, FTC Solar's technology can significantly boost the energy yield of the solar projects.
  • The integration of SunPath software allows for real-time monitoring and adjustments, ensuring maximum efficiency and quick response to any operational issues.
  • The collaboration is expected to set a benchmark for future solar projects in the U.S., demonstrating the potential for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness in large-scale solar installations.
  • The project could serve as a model for other renewable energy initiatives, showcasing the benefits of combining cutting-edge technology with strategic project management.
  • The increased efficiency from FTC Solar's technology may contribute to a faster return on investment for Levona Renewables, encouraging further investment in solar energy projects.
