Etrion organizes sale of 9.5-MWp solar farm in Japan
- Solar power manufacturer Etrion Corp (TSE: ETX) revealed on Thursday that it has struck an agreement to offer its 9.5-MW (straight existing) Misawa solar farm in Japan.
Etrion's wholly-owned subsidiaries Solar Resources Holding Sarl and also Etrion Japan KK will offer their passions to Japanese firm Gk Misawa Solar for an accumulated web rate of around JPY 1.6 billion (USD 14.6 m/EUR 12m), Etrion said.
The last cost undergoes specific modifications at closing, which is expected to take place prior to completion of July 2021. Amongst the closing conditions is the customer's contentment with Etrion's initiative to recuperate the Misawa plant, which experienced damages from winter months tornados in January and also February 2021.
This spring, Etrion revealed it would sell all or mostly all of its solar holdings in Japan, however needed shareholder authorization to move on. On May 27, the shareholders gave their green light to the asset disposal.
