Eneva starts commercial procedure of 692-MW solar complicated in Brazil

- Brazilian natural gas and power business Eneva SA (B3: ENEV3) has begun complete procedure of the 692.4-MWac Futurta 1 solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) complicated in Bahia state.

The firm announced on Monday it got authorization from regional power sector regulator Aneel on May 26.
Situated in the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte, the PV facility is comprised of 22 solar farms, making it one of the largest of its kind in the nation. With Futura 1 totally operational, the total centralised solar generation capacity in the Brazilian electrical power mix has risen by 8%, Eneva claimed.
At the beginning of the month, the business signed a joint venture partnership with neighborhood Industrial and also medical gases solid White Martins, under which the latter will acquire 100.6 ordinary megawatts (MWa) from Futura 1 during a 12-year period.
