Encavis purchases 25-MW solar project in Germany

- German solar and wind farm operator Encavis AG (ETR: ECV) today revealed the acquisition of a 25-MWp solar farm incomplete near Berlin from Sunovis GmbH.

The acquisition of the Gross Behnitz solar farm is part of the calculated development partnership between the two firms. This is the first project out of over 200 MW of solar capacity to be established by the partners. Sunovis is developing Gross Behnitz, acting as an engineering, procurement and also construction (EPC) partner as well as is accountable for the procedure and maintenance of the solar farm.
The center, which is anticipated to be operational following year, has 10-year power acquisition agreements (PPAs) in position for its future outcome.
