Eiffage to soon start developing Statkraft's 234-MW solar complex in Spain
- Eiffage Energia, the Spanish outpost of French electric engineering business Eiffage Energie Systemes, introduced on Wednesday that it will certainly start shortly with the building and construction of a 234-MW solar PV cluster in Cadiz province, Spain.

The company was granted the job by Norwegian power producer Statkraft A/S.
Eiffage Energia is tasked with developing four solar farms-- Arenosas, Malabrigo, El Yarte and also La Guita-- throughout an area extending near 400 hectares (988.4 acres), the business said.
These websites were initially developed by UK solar energy firm Solarcentury. Statkraft acquired the portfolio when it obtained Solarcentury in late November 2020.
Thus far, among the recognized contractors involved in the job are Spanish design and consulting firm SOLIDA Renewable Energies, which safeguarded the role of the proprietor's designer, as well as Soltec Power Holdings SA (BME: SOL), which is supplying its SF7 bifacial trackers.
Eiffage Energia and also Eiffage Energie Systemes become part of French civil engineering team Eiffage SA (EPA: FGR).
