EDF Renewables unveils UK mega-solar project
- Public consultation for the up-to 800MW scheme in Lincolnshire will compete six weeks from 24 January
EDF Renewables and Luminous Energy have unveiled plans as well as a public consultation for a solar farm with battery in the UK eastern Midlands area.
With a possible output of as much as 800MW, Springwell Solar Farm, between Lincoln as well as Sleaford, can give the equivalent energy to supply around half of all the homes in Lincolnshire.
Consultation on early prepare for Springwell Solar Farm will run for 6 weeks from 24 January.
Feedback from regional communities will assist shape the prepare for Springwell and also identify potential advantages that it can sustain in the city.
