The site will remain on vacant land within the company's Leven product packaging site, with 9,000 photovoltaic panels now ready to be mounted from July. The solar farm will certainly meet up to 22% of the site's annual electrical energy needs and also up to 60% over summer months.

Diageo submitted the preparation application for the site in July 2021. E.ON and also Scottish-based Emtec Energy will certainly deliver the site, which is set up to be operational by very early 2023.
