Lightsource BP has energized a 95MW AC/135MW DC solar farm in Arkansas, providing electricity to 21,000 homes annually. Located in White County, the Conway Solar at Happy Park contains 295,000 First Solar photovoltaic modules and trackers from Array Technologies. Conway Corporation has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for the energy generated. Lightsource BP has invested USD 125 million in the project and Gibson Technical Services served as engineering, procurement and construction contractor. The farm includes a five-acre pollinator garden and is expected to reduce 162,800 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
