Better Energy inks Danish solar energy play
- Innovative PPA with Energi Danmark will enable clean electrical power supply for a group of 12 corporates
Danish programmer Better Energy has become part of a power acquisition agreement with a cumulative of corporates, enabling it to construct a solar project in Denmark.
By joining pressures with Energi Danmark, the 12 corporates have participated in a contract to buy renewable power from Better Energy.
The companies signing the PPA consist of Bravida, Scan International Logistics, Blue Energy, Polyprint and Egmont.
Better Energy said the arrangement is a blueprint for how several companies can collaborate and contribute directly to the green shift.
"We are extremely happy with this contract. We have actually made it simple for 12 business in our client portfolio to make an actual difference in the green transition.

The solar park is expected to be finished in 2023 and also will certainly generate 70,000 megawatt-hours yearly.
