BayWa RE has signed a solar energy purchase agreement with German construction products company HeidelbergCement in Poland.

The 10-year PPA is for output from Poland's largest solar photovoltaic or pv farm near the German boundary in between Poznan and Berlin.

The 65MW project, near Witnica, schedules online in the very first fifty percent of this year.

The agreement notes the first subsidy-free PPA-backed largescale solar park in Poland, stated BayWa RE.

The contractual counterpart of the digital PPA is Gorazdze Cement, a Polish subsidiary of HeidelbergCement Group.

The agreement stands for a "considerable action" in HeidelbergCement's road to carbon nonpartisanship, as set out in its subscription to the 50 Sustainability & Climate Leaders.

Gorazdze Cement monitoring board president Andrzej Reclik claimed: "The 10-year PPA agreement for Witnica is a great achievement for the Gorazdze Group-- we are slowly satisfying the firm's lasting development objectives.

" BayWa RE is a trusted partner for us, we are glad that with each other we can establish standards in the sector."

BayWa RE has set itself an objective of creating solar as well as wind projects in Poland with a complete set up capacity of greater than 1GW.
