Australia's initial large-scale solar garden
- Nearly one-third of Australians are secured behind the solar barrier, as they do not have the high-end of mounting their own solar PV.

The Inner West Council in Sydney, Australia, is a leader in solar uptake with its enthusiastic target of 1,000% boost in solar infiltration over the following years. In fact, over the last month, the council doubled its solar capability in a solitary swoop. And now city council is inviting city locals to be part of Australia's very first large-scale solar yard, the Haystacks Solar Garden campaign, which is a 1 MW solar farm in the Riverina Region of New South Wales.
The effort is providing 3 kW 'solar stories' to 333 'solar gardeners' with a green thumb that do not necessarily have the roof room to install their own photovoltaic panels. Considering that nearly one-third of Australians are incapable to set up photovoltaic panels because of their living scenario, this is a practical solar option with substantial possibility.
