Adani Green payments 50-MW solar farm in Uttar Pradesh

- Indian renewables designer Adani Green Energy Ltd (BOM:541450), through a subsidiary, has actually appointed a 50-MW solar farm in Chitrakoot, in India's Uttar Pradesh state.
The solar farm will operate under a 25-year power purchase contract (PPA) with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for INR 3.07 (USD 0.041/ EUR 0.0343) per kWh, Adani Green said in a regulative filing. Adani Group's intelligent Energy Network Operation Centre (ENOC) platform will certainly take care of asset management duties post-commissioning.
With the Chitrakoot plant online, Adani Green's overall functional renewable energy capacity has grown to 3,520 MW, a lot of its solar energy.
Adani Green claimed the new 50 MW stand for the beginning of this year's appointing strategy. The Indian firm has a 15,240-MW portfolio of projects in different stages of implementation and also aspires to get to 25 GW by 2025.
