Belectric has been awarded a contract to build a 28.5-MWp solar plant in Norwich, England. The plant is expected to be operational by summer 2024 and will be able to power 9,500 households annually. This is part of Belectric's increasing presence in the UK and Netherlands.

Toyota Tsusho and RMT are collaborating to build a 25-MW solar power plant in Benin, West Africa. The project is supported by the government and marks the first large-scale renewable energy project ever by a Japanese firm. Construction is expected to finish in 2024 and the project will help Benin reduce electricity imports and install 150 MW of solar power generation by 2026.

SGEL has won the 90 MW floating solar project in Madhya Pradesh with an INR 3.79 ($0.046)/kWh tariff. The project is expected to generate 4,781 MUs over 25 years and will be commissioned within 21 months of signing the PPA. SJVN is the second firm to win the project.
