Solaris Energy has started construction on a 436-kW rooftop and carport solar project in Tucson, AZ, with financing, installation, and a lower electricity rate provided for the Icon Apartment Complex. Britvic and Atrato have signed a 10-year PPA for energy from a 28MW solar farm. 75% of Britvic's GB operations will be powered by the solar energy, and a CPPA in Ireland provides 100% renewable electricity for Ballygowan. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2024.

Morocco's Masen announces pre-qualification of six consortiums to construct 400 MW solar plant in the Atlas Mountains aiming to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Leading consortiums include Cobra, EDF, Enel, Iberdrola, International Power and Acwa Power with a two-hour storage capacity. Morocco's goal is to reach 80% renewable energy by 2050, and Noor Midelt II is a major contributor to that effort.

Elgin Energy has sold a 100 MW PV portfolio of solar projects in UK to Pennon Group, estimated to require GBP 85 million investment. These projects are projected to generate low-cost electricity and contribute to UK's net-zero emissions by 2050. Also, Elgin sold 521 MW of solar & 70 MW of battery projects in 2020, to be operational by 2025.

Iberdrola has announced its first photovoltaic project in Germany. 56MWp of clean energy, 80,000 bifacial solar modules, 50GWh a year, 20,000 tCO2 savings and €5m in local taxes. Vodafone partnership takes Germany one step closer to the industrial energy transition.

Renantis launches crowdfunding campaign to finance 8.2-MW La Manganizza agrivoltaic project in Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. Citizens can take part by investing with 3-year loans of up to EUR 10,000, with estimated 12 GWh/year and 4,000 homes powered. Project includes 85% cultivation area & multiple beehives.

CEE Group and Goldbeck Solar have commissioned a 154.77-MWp solar farm in Brandenburg, Germany. Generating 160,000 MWh of green electricity every year, the Doellen park will power 36,000 four-person households with DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing GmbH & Co. KG backing the project. Engie has assumed PPA partner responsibility for the next 10 years.

Polish general contractor Onde SA has sold its first self-developed solar project, Cyranka, for PLN 75 million to Engie Zielona Energia. The 18 MW Gizycko 1 & 2 solar farms commenced operations this year, with Engie now owning & operating 4 wind farms & 69 small PV parks with 63 MW.

Scatec Solar has closed financing on 3 Grootfontein solar projects in South Africa with a combined capacity of 273MW. Construction to begin Q1 of 2024 and estimated to power 100,000 households. Financed by equity and $241m of project finance debt.

Matrix Renewables, a TPG-backed platform, has acquired the 284-MW DC Stillhouse Solar Project in Texas. The project will start construction in 2024 and 6 GW of renewable energy and storage projects are already in the US. Recently, Matrix commissioned a 142 MW DC solar and 80 MWh battery storage project in California.

Assystem has been appointed by NEOM to conduct pre-development studies for seven potential solar photovoltaic parks in Saudi Arabia, potentially producing 20GW of energy across 420 square kilometers. Assystem will provide site assessment, environmental impact, permitting reports and more for this renewable energy project.
