Origis Revives Former NM Coal Plant with 200MW Solar Farm
Origis Energy has started construction on the 200-MW Escalante Solar Project in New Mexico. Built near Grants, this PV facility will produce enough energy to power 40,000 homes and is scheduled for completion in 2024. Gridworks is overseeing construction and Origis will assume operation and maintenance services. The project will be located next to a zero-emission, hydrogen-fired power facility.
