Xinte Energy hurrying 20,000 MT development at Xinjiang polysilicon plant

- Major China-based polysilicon producer Xinte Energy is to increase polysilicon manufacturing by 20,000 MT to fulfill continuous need from its plant in Xinjiang district, in spite of recently announcing strategies to construct a planned 200,000 MT plant near the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
As PV Tech has actually reported today, China is approaching a polysilicon supply chain "situation" as place rates rise because of downstream demand.
