World's biggest wind-solar hybrid complex goes online in India
- India's Adani Green Energy Ltd (BOM:541450) on Thursday announced the commissioning of a 600-MW wind-solar complicated in Rajasthan, promoted as the biggest among its kind worldwide.

The hybrid park is located in the city of Jaisalmer and contains a photovoltaic (PV) farm with bifacial modules and single-axis radar and co-located wind generators.
Adani Green will certainly run the big facility via a 25-year power acquisition agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Company of India (SECI), marketing its result at INR 2.69 (USD 0.033/ EUR 0.034) per kWh. The Indian company safeguarded the capacity in a SECI tender for interstate transmission system (ISTS) linked projects in 2019.
In May, Adani Green brought on the internet what it said was India's initial wind-solar farm in its home nation-- a 390-MW hybrid energy park in Jaisalmer. With the current plant coming online, the Indian firm's portfolio of eco-friendly parks in operation has boosted to 6.7 GW, it noted.
Adani Green targets at having 45 GW of eco-friendly power manufacturing capacity by 2030. Presently, its overall sustainable portfolio, consisting of projects under development and also construction, stands at 20.4 GW.
