Wirsol ties with Australia's Countrywide for solar-to-hydrogen projects in Tasmania
- Countrywide Hydrogen Pty Ltd, part of Australian solar mounted ReNu Energy Ltd (ASX: RNE), has joined Wirsol Energy to study the viability of developing behind-the-meter solar-to-hydrogen projects in Tasmania.
Under the strategy, the business will certainly assess options for projects entailing the installment of solar plants and also battery storage systems within Countrywide's hydrogen sites. The Aussie company stated on Monday it is working with two hydrogen manufacturing projects in Tasmania.
Wirsol's task will be to assess the possible project sites and examine the capacity for mounting solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) as well as battery storage capacity, which could be possibly used to power Countrywide's hydrogen plants. At the same time, the project will likewise seek to identify the feasibility of co-locating Countrywide hydrogen manufacturing facilities at Wirsol's solar parks in Australia.
