Waaree Energies Ltd has recently received a Letter of Award to deploy 70 MW DC of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity for a domestic seamless tube manufacturer. The EPC-related project will be worth INR 1.83 billion and will be installed at an unspecified location in India. Furthermore, the company has also secured a deal to supply 135 MW of solar PV modules to state-run power producer NTPC Ltd, with the installation to be completed in four months. Waaree will also be responsible for the subsequent operations and maintenance of the PV plants for five years.
