French energy company Voltalia has completed its 49.9 MW South Farm Solar Park in Dorset, South West England. The solar park is providing electricity to the City of London business district through a 15-year power purchase agreement. The park's output is estimated to cover the consumption of 35,000 people and will enable the City of London Corporation to save over GBP 3 million in energy costs. Voltalia is currently working on 23 projects totaling 193 MW in the UK.
