Voltalia breaks ground on 12-MW solar project in France
- French renewable power plants operator Voltalia SA (EPA: VLTSA) introduced on Wednesday it has started the construction of a 12.1-MW solar farm in northeastern France.

Located in the European Collectivity of Alsace, Wintzenheim town, the Logelbach photovoltaic (PV) park will be comprised of 21,384 photovoltaic panels spread across 12 hectares (29.65 acres).
Voltalia expects to commission the PV plant in the 2nd fifty percent of 2023. As soon as up and running, the Logelbach solar farm need to be capable of generating sufficient clean electrical power to fulfill the demand of around 6,000 occupants.
CEO Sebastien Clerc kept in mind that the business is presently adding nearly 83 MW of new power capacity in France which need to fulfill the demand of regarding 57,000 people.
