Vodafone Powers On-Grid with Iberdrola's Solar PPAs

- Iberdrola and Vodafone have signed three Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to supply Vodafone with 410GWh of solar generated electricity. These PPAs will help both companies reach their net-zero targets and provide energy security. Three solar plants will be built in Spain and Germany with a capacity of 56MW by 2024. Both companies are committed to finding more sustainable energy solutions.

Iberdrola and Vodafone have signed three Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to supply Vodafone with 410GWh of solar generated electricity in Spain, Portugal and Germany. The PPAs will accelerate the companies’ net-zero journeys and provide energy security. To achieve these goals, Iberdrola will build the Velilla, Cedillo and Boldekow solar plants in Spain and Germany. These plants will have a combined capacity of 56MW and will be operational by 2024. The companies plan to work together to look for new PPA opportunities and sustainability initiatives in the future.
