Vikram is a leading solar manufacturer in India. The company supplied modules to the West Bengal government. The modules were used in 140 pumps to be used for irrigation. Also, the company supplied 80 solar-powered pumps in West Bandal’s Department of Public Health Engineering. It also supplied 80 more pumps to Zila Parishad. The pumps have been deployed for irrigation across Odisha and West Bengal.

According to the head of Channel Sales Devendra Verma, the installation was occasioned by the unpredictability of rainfall in India. The unpredictability forces the residents of the area to work harder to access water. Therefore, by installing water pumps, it will provide a solution and help residents and farmers spend less time searching for water.

He added that Vikram Solar believes that the scheme will positively impact on agriculture. It is dependable and will be relied on for irrigation systems. He further said that the company is trying to make the projects reliable. It shows the company’s commitment to helping India’s solar mission.

At some point, we reported that Vikram Solar had commissioned 3 new solar plants for AAI. The solar projects have a capacity of 1165 kilowatt. The 3 projects will serve the airport authority of Gondia, Gaya in Bihar and Dibrugarh.

The company is also planning to commission 6 solar projects for airports in Gondia, Gaya, Dibrugarh, Callicut, and Kolkata. These projects will have an accumulative capacity of 4MW.
