The plant will power six buildings at Belur Math—Shilpvidyalaya, Shilpamandira, Shilpayatan, Shikshanmandira, Bank and Showroom.

Kuldeep Kumar Jain, BU Head of EPC, Vikram Solar shared on the occasion, “Belur Math is one of the most significant spiritual institutions in India, founded by Swami Vivekananda himself. We are very proud to have become a part of this institution by offering something sustainable.”

He added, “The project, being under the banner of the Government of India, presented a strict quality and performance approval process. Vikram Solar successfully commissioned the project within agreed-upon timelines, maintaining quality and customer-centricity. We thank DVC for taking this step towards energy sustainability with us and hope to be a part of the company’s future green endeavours.”

Vikram Solar has over 1040 MW of EPC portfolio (including commissioned and under-execution rooftop and ground-mounted projects). The company currently has a rooftop portfolio of 70 MW (commissioned and under execution). It recently commissioned Eastern India’s largest single-shed rooftop solar project at Nilganj, North 24 Paraganas, West Bengal. The 2.15 MW project was awarded to Vikram Solar by Keventer Agro Limited.
