Singapore-based renewable energy company Vena Energy has commissioned two solar parks in Aomori Prefecture, Japan with a combined capacity of 20 MW. The Nanbucho 2 and 3 solar photovoltaic plants are estimated to produce enough electricity to power around 4,900 homes in the region. Raul Rienda, Country Head of Japan for Vena Energy expressed appreciation for the support of the local communities and stated that Aomori Prefecture now hosts 16 of their renewable energy projects. Vena Energy has an extensive network of 45 GW of onshore, offshore, and battery assets across the Asia-Pacific region with an annual production of 4.1 TWh of clean electricity.
