Valorem Secures 300MW Solar Approval in Greece

Valorem has secured Environmental Terms Approval (ETA) from the Greek Ministry of Energy and Environment for a 300 MW portfolio of solar projects in Thessaly, bringing the total capacity of its Farsala photovoltaic (PV) portfolio to 360 MW. Once all 11 plants are completed, the PV complex will be capable of producing more than 550 GWh of electricity annually to supply 40,000 homes. Valorem's local arm, REN VALOREM Hellas, is currently developing 700 MW of renewable energy projects in the country.
