US storage space supplier scores Texas double

United States energy storage space attire FlexGen is creating two energy storage space projects, amounting to 220 megawatt-hours of capability, in Texas.
Both 110MWh standalone battery storage space projects are located in Texas Hill Country.
When released, the systems will act as dispatchable properties for a concealed leading independent power producer, FlexGen claimed.
The company is working with lithium ion battery manufacturer Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited (CATL) to supply the systems.
FlexGen chief running police officer Alan Grosse said: "We delight in to broaden our relationship with CATL on the installment of these two 110MWh battery storage space projects.
" CATL's technological and also industrial groups have been excellent partners, as well as we expect interacting to offer even more Texans and also their households."
To day, FlexGen said its HybridOS power management system platform manages greater than 260MW and 171MWh of power storage space projects in operation.
