AEP Energy, a subsidiary of American Electric Power, and also Doral Renewables have signed an additional long-lasting renewable energy acquisition arrangement for the 360MW (dc) 2nd phase of the Mammoth solar project in Indiana.

Mammoth Solar 2 becomes part of the 1.65 GW (dc) Mammoth project being created by Doral in Starke and also Pulaski areas in north Indiana.

This contract complies with the long-term renewable energy purchase arrangement previously carried out between the parties in April 2021 for the first phase of the Mammoth Solar project which covered 480MW (dc).

Mammoth Solar 2 is anticipated to start construction during 2022 and also reach industrial procedure in 2024.
