Univergy Solar unveils 4.5-MW solar plant in Spain

- Spanish-Japanese renewables developer Univergy Solar revealed today that it has actually concluded construction of a roughly 4.5-MW solar park in a village in south-east Spain.

The new plant, called Salinetes I, is made up of 10,780 frameless bifacial PV panels covering a location of some 6.5 hectares (16 acres) in the municipality of Novelda, Alicante province.
Salinetes I is the first in the string of projects completing over 50 MW that will certainly be set up in the location in the next 2 years, according to the renewable energy business.
Univergy Solar's following strategy is to begin building and construction of the 4.7-MW Rebento solar farm in the community of Petrer in the coming months.
The Tokyo and Madrid-based team says it has more than 11.2 GW of renewable resource projects in its advancement portfolio.
