UK introduces power storage advancement competition
- Interested events have till 14 August to put on the two-stream initiative

Interested parties have up until 14 August to apply for an energy storage technology competition released by the UK federal government.
The competitors aims to increase commercialisation of ingenious longer period power storage space projects-- omitting commercial remedies such as pumped hydro or lithium ion-- at various innovation preparedness levels, with first-of-a-kind full-system prototypes or real presentations.
The government stated that effective projects are expected to start stage among the competition in November.
The competition is split right into 2 streams.
Stream one is applications for gives for pre-commercial demo projects, with approximately ₤ 1m given for phase one and ₤ 11m for phase 2.
Stream 2 engaged first-of-a-kind prototype agreements, with ₤ 150,000 per project for phase one and ₤ 9.45 m per project for stage 2.
