Students from the Eindhoven University of Technology have unveiled the world's first off-road solar car: Stella Terra. The car is powered by energy from the sun collected by solar panels on the roof and has a top speed of 145 kilometers per hour, weighing only 1200 kilograms with a range of 630 kilometers. This October, the team will depart for Morocco, where Stella Terra will be tested in various landscapes including the Sahara desert. The team, which has won the World Solar Challenge four times, aims to prove that the transition to a sustainable future is possible and encourages individuals and companies to accelerate the energy transition.
