TrinaTracker Powers Up: 2.5GW Brazil Plant Opens

TrinaTracker, a subsidiary of Trina Solar Co., has opened a new smart tracker manufacturing plant in Salvador, Brazil. The factory has an annual production capacity of 2.5GW and will bring their total global production capacity up to 10GW. Aiming to meet Brazil’s local content requirements and improve delivery and on-site service in Latin America, teams have been formed throughout the region, and more than 3GW of smart trackers have been dispatched in the area. The plant is set to double the estimated tracker sales in the Brazilian market by the end of 2023 and has the advantage of being close to the region that hosts most of the solar power plants in the area.
