- Gien project is the fossil fuel gamer's largest PV plan in its home market

TotalEnergies has commissioned its largest solar project in France, the 55MW Gien website in Lorient.
The home town programmer claimed the project comprises 126,000 solar panels topped 75 hectares.
The plant (envisioned) will produce around 64 GWh each year, comparable to the yearly electrical power consumption of 38,000 people.
It was financed partially making use of a participative financing system including website neighbours.
TotalEnergies groups will run and preserve the plant locally throughout its 30-year operating life expectancy.
