Based on the RfS, the purchasing entity will participate in Power Purchase Arrangement (PPA) with the picked bidder for the purchase of solar energy for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RfS. The optimum levelised tariff payable to the Project Developer is fixed at Rs 2/kWh for a duration of 25 years.

The land for setting up of solar projects with battery storage will be helped with and offered to the SPD by Ladakh Renewable Resource Advancement Agency (LREDA) and Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency (KREDA) individually, given under “& ldquo; Right-to-Use & rdquo; to the SPD.
